1. What is the length of the Franchise?
3 years from
the date of signing the Franchise Agreement
2. What training will I receive?
At the start of
your franchise all franchisees will receive a business induction programme. During this
period you will be shown the 'ins
and outs' of the Alpha Detective Agency (ADA)
Business. We like to keep this programme on a free format basis in order to
facilitate Franchisee's of different
backgrounds.
3. What materials do I receive when I first start my Franchise?
An Alpha
Detective Agency "Operations Manual" - this
details the ADA principles of running your
franchise, a full package of written training
materials and all ADA
Business templates.
4. Who will be my head office contact?
You will be
assigned a head office contact for any questions
you may have when you have signed the franchise
agreement. This person will be contactable by
e-mail for normal questions and by telephone for
urgent questions. Your head office contact
will act as your business partner for the first
six months of your initial license period.
5. What will the Business Partner do for me in the first six months?
The Business
Partner is the person at head office for you to
bounce ideas off. This person will give you
straight and honest feedback on your ideas and
give the final sign off for any marketing or
promotional activity you choose to produce.
6. Will I need my own Limited Company?
You do not need
your own Limited Company - however it is
recommended due to the limited liability this
legal entity has.
7. How many hours will I need to put in to achieve good profitable results?
As with any
business the more effort you put in the more you
will get out of it in the long run. Our most
successful Franchisee's put in upwards of 60
hours a week in the first six months! Beyond
this a normal week is 30 - 50
hours, it depends due to the nature of this
business
8. Do I need to pay my own bills and taxation payments?
Yes. Being a
franchisee means you are setting up your own
business but trading under the name of
another company for which you pay them an
initial start up fee and royalties.
9. How much is
the Royalty fee between my franchise and Alpha
Detective
Agency?
5% per annum of
your gross turnover. Payable quarterly every
calendar quarter of your franchise agreement term.
10. Why do I have to provide ADA with Quarterly and Annual accounts of my
business?
The quarterly
accounts tie up with your royalty payments and
allow head office to account to our share
holders. Your annual
accounts are required in order to make sure your
franchise is correctly apportioning all client
funds according to the franchise agreement.
11. Can I end the franchise agreement at any time?
Please refer to
your individual franchise agreement, as this
will be detailed there.
12. Will ADA provide me with more training if I require it?
Yes we can,
however we expect all franchisee's to have a
minimum Private Investigation study background
before taking on a franchise (i.e. our CD-Rom
course would cover this). If further training is
required beyond the 2 day
course detailed above ADA will charge the
franchisee our standard training rate for
whatever training is needed
minus 15% group discount.
13. Do I have to find all of my own clients or will ADA head office supply
me with them?
As a Franchisee
you are expected to find and deal with your own
clients. However if a new client comes to ADA
head office's notice and he/she is in your
territory area we will pass the client directly
to you.
14. Can I buy more than one franchise territory?
Yes. Once you
have had your first franchise for 180 days or
more you may apply in writing to ADA head office
to be
considered for purchase of a second franchise
territory.
